Be Free; Happy Period with Sanitary Napkins !!

We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.

Women and girls in rural areas and slums are not aware of their health which leads them to face several diseases and infection. Women have menstruation every month and not being aware women in rural areas and slums they use cloth, cotton, paper, etc. which gets them infected from several diseases. One more reason for not using proper measure in the situation is their financial condition which doesn't allow them to buy sanitary napkins.

For making women aware of the health and to have them secure mestruation, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Support, distributed sanitary napkins. More than 200 women got benefit from the program in which 800 packets of sanitary napkins were distributed to more than 200 women. All women were happy to get the napkins as they may be able to perform daily routine work easily while menstruation with the help of sanitary napkin.

One of the activists of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan had conversation with a woman in the program. She was severely ill as she got infection while menstruation. She didn't use sanitary napkin due to the financial conditions. But, she was happy to get sanitary napkins free which help her to have secured menstruation and she will be able to perform all her daily routine chores. All women thanked Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and the donors for their efforts.
