Thank you for your generous contributions for the education of AIDS orphans through esteemed organization GlobalGiving.
CHHASE was started to provide education to Tribal children. But during our project implementation, we have came to know about many children are drop out from school, due various reasons. CHHASE has included them in our project and educated 9000+ children and made Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu as child labor less district.But we have not limited our services, we found many children are lacking in school studies because they are first generation learners and started AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM.
And also we are identifying the economically disadvantaged poor students in rural areas, where the students are becoming drop outs / child labor because of lack of timely educational support, uniforms, chappals, shoes and other needs. In our analysis most of the poor girl students in the High Schools are not attending schools regularly because of poverty, child labour, descrimination among the community.
These 4 children have become orphans because of their parents dimise due to AIDS.They lost their parents and looked after by their grand parents.Your support enable us to provide not only education but also their daily needs, food groceries for the children and to their grand parents, Clothing etc.
One of the children's grand parent said that " We have approached many people for support to our grand children education,no one helped us. Even our close relations, neighbours also refused to help.But for last three years,we are getting support from CHHASE NGO. We came to know that we get help from unknown donors. We thank you for helping us and saving my grand children.We are including our donors in our daily prayers to give them good health and wealth.
