Thanks so much for helping to provide nutritious food for Noldy.
Noldy’s mom was killed in the 2010 Haitian earthquake and his dad was left unable to care for their eight children. So he made the heartbreaking decision to take Noldy, and his brother and sister, to the HTDC orphanage.
Noldy’s dad hoped the orphanage could feed him, but with so many other hungry mouths to feed, the orphanage also struggled from day to day. Without healthy food, Noldy was listless. He didn’t play or run around.
Yet now - thanks to you - the orphanage staff can barely keep up with him.
Although this microproject wasn’t fully funded your donations are still helping to provide Noldy with three nutritious meals every day. We’ll also continue fundraising to provide the food he needs to stay healthy and keep on growing.
Noldy has a bright future because you gave. There are so many things you could have spent your hard earned money on, but you chose Noldy. Thanks so much.
We’ll keep updating you about Noldy and all his friends at the Hands Together to Defend the Children Orphanage through this project’s parent page, Provide a Safe Home for Haitian Orphans. If you ever have any questions about how we're using your donation, please email Andy@IDVolunteers.org. We’d love to hear from you!
Thanks again for making Noldy’s future bright, and our warmest regards!
Note that the orphanage is home to around thirty children. Donations to this project will help cover Noldy’s share of the food costs, but will be spent on all the children in parallel as we fundraise for each in turn.
