By Julie L Hutchison | President, Co-Founder and Chelsea's Mother
Thank you so much for donating to this special project. Chelsi and her seizure-response dog, Norman, met about 2 weeks ago and began intense training to be come one of The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation's news service dog teams. Just today, they graduated and are on their way back home to begin their journey together.
Click here to read a very special article written about this program and the special group of young adults who received their service dogs this week. This article was written by Erin Andersen of the Lincoln Journal Star.
KLKNTV in Lincoln, NE also aired this story today about Chelsi and I thought you would enjoy it. Click here to view this news segment. You can be so proud that you made this happen.
We will be posting more micro projects soon, but in the meantime, we'd love for you to take a look at a few of our other projects on GlobalGiving. Your support means more to us than we could ever express in words.
Thank you again for your support of this project and for helping The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation grant comfort and hope to those in need, in memory of Chelsea.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you can receive an email when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports without donating.
