Dear Friends,
A new school year has begun in Afghanistan, and as promised, we’re writing to update you on the student who received the scholarship that you helped to fund! A young boy named Ramin will be attending a private school in Herat province, thanks to your generosity. Ramin's father is a painter and the family could not afford to send Ramin to school. Because of your help, Ramin will be in the fifth this school year.
Above you can see Ramin and his classmates who also received scholarships. In all, through GlobalGiving and other sources, we were able to provide 73 scholarships to students just like Ramin to study at private schools in Afghanistan this school year! We’d like to thank you once again for supporting our efforts to provide a high quality education to as many students as possible. Thank you.
