Thanks so much for supporting evacuees like Fe.
Fe is sixty five years old and she lives with her thirty five year old daughter and nine year old grandson in Banaba, just outside Manila. Their house is made from bricks but it's dangerously close to a river.
Every year there are typhoons and floods, and Fe’s house is often inundated.
Fe lives in constant danger and fear. She desperately needs her nearest evacuation center to be finished so that her family has somewhere safe to go when the worst inevitably happens again.
And now, because of your generosity, we’ll be able to continue work on Fe’s evacuation center. Several walls still need rendering, and the building needs equipping with bunk beds. This will take time to complete, but work will continue one brick wall and bunk bed at a time. So, your donations will have an immediate impact protecting Fe from floods and typhoons. Thank you so much.
We’ll send you updates about how your gift is changing the lives of Fe, her family, and families like theirs right here on GlobalGiving. Should you ever have any questions about how we’re using your donation, please don’t hesitate to email Andy@IDVolunteers.org. I’d love to hear from you!
One last time, thanks so much for helping to ensure that Fe will have a safe refuge when she next needs it most.
