With the donations we receive from this microproject, Karen would be able to stand up from her wheel chair and walk. This girl has a long life to live but she needs a smile in her face that can be possible with a new leg.
Karen lives in a rural zone that demands her to pass through unestable surfaces. She was born without one of her legs, because of this Mahavir Kmina and our donors, will help her to receive a lower artifitial limb. This way Karen will walk as long as she wants, she could be able to run and the sadness from her face will probably go away.
The chance of Karen to have an artifitial limb, depends on our help with your cooporation. Mahavir Kmina will provide her the possibility to grow as all the kids from her age. She can have the ability to share, play and be whatever she wants to. Of course, it wouldnt be possible with the helpful help from our donors.
Makavir Kmina provides prostheses to 250 amputees per year. This project will provide in a one-year period, prostheses to 20 children and youth between 1 and 25 years old who have suffered lower limb amputation allowing them to become independent in their daily life activities. This is important because they will have the opportunity to return to school, college or work, thus improving their living conditions and those of the people around them.
