GlobalGiving’s 2021 March Little by Little Matching Campaign runs from Monday, March 8, at 00:00:00 ET to Friday, March 12, at 23:59:59 ET.
All Partner, Leader, and Superstar organizations, with the exception of Indian-banked organizations, are eligible to participate in the campaign. Emerging organizations and GlobalGiving-sponsored projects and Funds are ineligible to participate in this campaign.
All active projects and microprojects associated with eligible organizations will be automatically included on the campaign leaderboard (no opt-in required) unless the project has been accepted to participate in the concurrent International Women’s Week Campaign.
New projects must be submitted to GlobalGiving for review by Wednesday, March 3 at 17:00:00 ET. For microprojects, check the expiration date as GlobalGiving cannot extend the 90-day time period.
Please allow for 2-3 business days for GlobalGiving to approve project reports, project appeals, and project edits related to the campaign. Disbursement of funds raised and awarded in this campaign will be included in the usual monthly disbursement process.
During the Little by Little campaign, all eligible donations up to $50 per unique donor per organization will be matched at 50% for as long as the campaign is live. Matching funds will be available throughout the entire five-day campaign.
Unique donors are determined using numerous criteria, including name, email address, credit card number, mailing address, and IP address. We are monitoring these and other parameters in our system to ensure that only distinct donors are counted.
For the purposes of calculating matching amounts, donations made in other currencies will be converted to USD. The exchange rate will be estimated at the time of the donation, but may be subject to change until the donation settles with the donor’s bank or credit card. Funds will be disbursed using the exchange rate based on the settlement value of each transaction.
GlobalGiving reserves the right to make final decisions on all matters concerning the allocation of matching funds.
GlobalGiving’s 100% Monthly Match is also available to the GlobalGiving nonprofit community for all of 2021, and this includes Little by Little. New monthly donations set up during this week will be eligible for both matches: the immediate 50% Little by Little match (up to $50) and a one-time 100% match (up to $200) as long as the new monthly donation remains active for a minimum of four payments. Online donations (credit card, debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and individually purchased GlobalGiving gift cards) and mobile donations through M-Changa will count towards your total raised during the Little by Little week.
Donations must be made by the account or credit card holder.
Cash, check, corporate gift card redemptions, CAF check, CAF Online, wire transfers, text-to-give donations, donations made via JustGiving, donations made on a GlobalGiving corporate or organizational giving site, or donations made directly to an organization rather than a project.
Please note that all donations are final. GlobalGiving cannot change the time, date, or status of a donation after it is processed for any reason.
Any activity not in the spirit of requesting separate individuals to support donations is being moderated by GlobalGiving and GlobalGiving reserves the right to permanently disqualify organizations for any attempts of misconduct.
GlobalGiving is a registered nonprofit charity in the United States and England and Wales. Donations made by eligible donors in the United States can be claimed as tax deductible contributions on United States tax returns. Donations made by eligible donors in the United Kingdom can claim Gift Aid (an extra 25% added to eligible donations by the UK Government) when they donate in GBP.
GlobalGiving charges a minimal nonprofit support fee plus a 3% processing fee. For US and UK registered organizations, the nonprofit support fee is 5%; for organizations outside the US and UK, it is 7%. During Little by Little, the fee only applies to the initial donation and not to matching funds earned. The fee helps cover the costs we incur to promote your organization and projects, to provide you with fundraising training and tools, and to maintain and improve our online technology in order to keep you connecting with new donors.
