Every donation to an eligible project during our GivingTuesday campaign will be matched. Plus, $15,000 in bonus prizes will go to the projects that receive the most support.

Give to fully vetted projects across a wide range of causes, and GlobalGiving will match your donation starting at midnight EST on December 1.

On GivingTuesday, eligible donations to participating projects on GlobalGiving will help you grow your gift with a share of a $500,000 Incentive Fund (the matching pool for this campaign). The organizations with the most support will also be eligible for a share of $15,000 in bonus prizes.
The campaign runs from 12:00 a.m. (midnight) EST on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, to 12:00 p.m. (noon) EST on Wednesday, December 2, 2026.
Donations made during the campaign dates to a participating project on GlobalGiving.org using one of the following payment methods count toward the campaign:
Donations must be made by the account or card holder.
Donations made using the following methods are not eligible for matching funds or bonus prizes, although they will still support the project: corporate gift cards, checks (including CAF checks), CAF Online, wire transfers, donations made through a GlobalGiving corporate or organizational giving site, and donations made directly to an organization rather than to a project.
Donations of up to $2,500 per donor, per organization, are eligible. If you give $2,501 or more, the amount greater than $2,500 will still go to the project but will not increase its share of matching funds.
GlobalGiving reserves the right to determine the eligibility of donations and makes all final decisions regarding the allocation of matching funds and bonus prizes.
All donations are final. GlobalGiving cannot change the time, date, or status of a donation after it has been processed.
GlobalGiving will follow your lead during the GivingTuesday campaign: while every project that receives donations will receive a match, those with the most support from donors will receive a larger share of the matching pool. We’ll give where you give.
Unlike a traditional dollar-for-dollar match, matching funds in this campaign are distributed proportionally. At the end of the campaign, each participating project receives a share of the $500,000 Incentive Fund based on its percentage of total eligible donations.

Estimated shares are displayed on the campaign leaderboard and update every three minutes. Donations in currencies other than USD will be converted to USD. The exchange rate will be estimated at the time of donation, but the final amount eligible for matching is based on the exchange rate when the transaction settles with your bank or credit card.
The ten (10) projects that receive the most in donations during the campaign will also receive a bonus match, ranging from $5,000 for first place to $400 for tenth place. Each organization may win only one bonus prize.
