Help Improve Emergency Care!
A Fundraiser by Vinoo Dissanayake

Uganda is an east African country that is working to improve its medical system. In 2001, the government eliminated fees to state health facilities, but services are inaccessible for many. Nyakibale Hospital, located in SW Uganda, is 2 hours away from the nearest major city. The hospital opened the first ED in Uganda in 2007. We provide emergency medical education to the Ugandan practitioners in this hospital, and ED annual visits are now ~7,000/yr. But we need your help to keep going!
