In 2012 I began working for a small international non-profit located in Waverly, Iowa, Self-Help International (SHI). Since then I have become passionate about promoting SHI's good work. Its mission: to alleviate hunger by helping people help themselves. Through education and training in farming, microcredit, & improved healthcare, Self-Help offers long-term solutions for rural families to get out of poverty. Help me raise money to provide training for farmers in Ghana and Nicaragua.
