Violence has become a way of life for them, while persecution makes these children especially vulnerable. CARE reaches Syrian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, Yemen, and those displaced inside Syria with food, hygiene items, and emergency cash assistance. Thousands more families are mired in a difficult journey to Europe, and are stranded in transit on their way to welcoming European Union countries.
