With due respect, I would like to inform you that for the past 15 years, the organization named "Uttara Unnayan Sangstha" has been implementing various social welfare activities and income-generating projects in Bangladesh for the purpose of poverty alleviation and self-employment, including 1) Social Forestry, 2) Mass Education, 3) Fisheries, 4) Poultry and Cattle Husbandry, 5) Sanitation, 6) Free Medical Services and Medicine Distribution Project for the Health of Helpless Poor People, 7) Family Planning Program, 8) Cottage Industries, 9) Small Savings Project, 10) Sewing Training, 11) Legal Aid to Abused Helpless Women. But unfortunately, to date, without any financial support from any donor organization for the widespread expansion and rapid implementation of all these activities and projects, this organization has been able to make a practical contribution to various programs and development activities at the national level by successfully implementing the projects undertaken on its own initiative, with the cooperation of some people of the area, benevolent individuals, and through the tireless efforts of the organization's volunteer social workers.
In this situation, I humbly appeal to you to provide financial assistance of $20,000 to this organization for the implementation of various income-generating projects including social forestry, mass education, fisheries, and other activities.
It is to be noted that,
If the said financial assistance is provided, this organization hopes that it will be possible to take the poor people one step further in many development activities at the national level by implementing projects and creating self-employment through the use of many trained workers.
