Oromiya Children Care Organization (OCCO) mission statement is to strengthen local community competency to the promotion of education, primary health care and development to deprived members of the societies through capacity building, provision of handcraft industries and vocational training to impaired children, poverty reduction, promoting human rights and advocacy skills, and mitigation the socio-economic imoact of HIV and AIDS. The Organization was formed by the 6 (six) professional people coming from different fields of study in Oromiya region with major aims to support poor rural marginalized children and widows by HIV and AIDS through education for all campaigns, support community outreach work, disabled children, orphans, widows, youth groups, and women's empowerment through capacity building.Our goal is standards of living in misery rural households improved through self-reliant participatory efforts of members of those households.
