Olivia Travel is honored to join forces with the remarkable organization Hope for Girls and Women Tanzania for our 2024 Giving Tuesday donation drive. Hope for Girls and Women Tanzania (HFGWT) is a non-profit committed to ending the harmful practice of female genital mutilation (FGM). Founded by Tanzanian activist Rhobi Samwelly in 2017, HFGWT has made a profound impact by providing safe housing, education, counseling, and more for girls and women at risk of FGM, gender-based violence, and child marriage.

Olivia Travel has always been a pioneer in fighting for gender equality, and partnering with HFGWT allows us to donate to a cause that will lift up some of the most vulnerable girls and women in the world – all of whom deserve dignity, safety, and support.
Olivia has committed to driving contributions to support Hope for Girls and Women Tanzania and will match your tax-deductible donations up to the first $14,000 made between now and Giving Tuesday on December 3rd, 2024 - including totals pledged as monthly donations.
Your Impact:
- $50 will provide meals for a survivor for over a month
- $100 will buy 20 textbooks
- $200 will provide safe housing and essentials for 2 girls during cutting season
- $600 will rescue 9 girls at risk of FGM and provide their meals for over a month
- $1,000 will provide safe housing, essentials, and education for 10 girls during cutting season
- $2,500 will provide safe housing, essentials, and education for 25 girls during cutting season
- $5,000 will provide safe housing, essentials, and education for 50 girls during cutting season
