My Carbon Offset

I’ve read about how carbon offsetting allows me to contribute monetarily for the reductions in carbon emissions I often feel helpless to change. For example, I NEED to drive to work/shop/volunteer in my community. I don't want to be a hypocrite, but I feel like I just can't sacrifice owning a car.
