As the next step in my leadership and social impact journey, I was one of the few (around 30) students accepted to attend the Latin American Leadership Academy (LALA) in-person camps in São Paulo. The event will bring together people from all over the continent and will promote activities that will significantly help me develop my leadership skills and has the potential to be a remarkable experience, but the cost of attendance, which includes food, accommodation, transportation in São Paulo for the activities and miscellaneous is $1500. That's why I need your help!
A little bit about me: in 2024, I taught programming to socioeconomically vulnerable children in a social project in my city. Through this project, I was chosen as the 2024 Young Ambassador by the US Embassy. After the memorable experience of visiting the United States - with all costs covered by the Embassy - I was accepted into EducationUSA's Opportunity Fund Program - which provides guidance and funding for my application to American universities - and Young Tech Talent, a technology-focused program of the Behring Foundation that offers various resources to advance my career, including scholarships, mentoring, classes and social skills workshops. I'm also in TKS (The Knowledge Society), an Olympic-level training program for innovative teenagers that has already been cited in Forbes.
PS: I'm doing a fundraiser on a national website so that I can easily receive money in the local currency, so that's why I've not set the goal as the full cost of attending of the program.
