I want you to meet someone very special to me - my best friend, Jessica. She was recently diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer a mere week after her 27th birthday. She is in University , unemployed, and suffering from medical bills piling up. Jessica is a generous, vivacious 26 year old student. I have known Jessica for over twenty years and throughout this tough time, she continues to be as energetic, kind, and positive. Unfortunately, Jessica was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer six weeks ago. It came as a shock to all of us. Breast cancer at 27 years old? How is that possible? Well, for Jessica it's an eye-opening reality. She was diagnosed with multi centric, invasive ductal carcinoma, triple negative. This means that there is likely a genetic component to her cancer, which makes sense as her mom passed away 9 years ago from breast cancer. Jessica's cancer is "high grade", which means that it spreads quickly and has already spread to at least one lymph node. Her cancer cells are multiplying at a 90% rate.... 20% is considered bad. Due to the complexity and rare nature of a triple negative cancer, it is a bit more complicated than your average breast cancer and due to this fact, her doctors have decided that starting chemo ASAP (she just started this week) is the most important thing to ensure her positive outcome. There's hope with alternative medicine that can kill cancer, but this treatment is very costly and it's available abroad the cost is between $20,000.00 - $30,000.00. I'm asking you to please help me save my friends life by donating to her fight to live, anything can help. PLEASE DO SHARE!
