Archie knew nothing but love, safety and happiness in his 5 wonderful years. He was the kindest boy who always thought of others, so I know he'd be delighted that money raised in his memory would directly help other children who, without this incredible charity, have little experience of love, care or hope.
I have supported the wider charity "Rafiki Mwema" (translates as "Loyal Friend") for several years and am one of their regular sponsors, so it is very close to my heart. This is an organisation in Kenya who provide refuge to children who have suffered unimaginable abuse. They care for boys and girls onsite on their farm who are therapeutically parented, educated, supported with legal proceedings against their abusers, and to have safe contact with their families. They are loved and provided with a safe and consistent home, with adults they can trust. This support continues remotely if the children are able to safely return to their families.
In 2019 they went on to start the additional outreach program "Rafiki Mtaani" (translates as "friend on the street"), for the local street children with supporting them with food, friendship, community and medical care. The need has only grown whilst donations have dropped. They truly do INCREDIBLE work, and every penny will make such a difference to this small and wonderful charity.
Please look at the links below for their main webpage to learn more, and/ or follow on social media. Every penny going towards this program will also free up funds for their main care work onsite allowing them to distribute fund wherever there is the most need.

**Since starting this fundraiser, the charity director has reached out to thank us directly, and have very kindly suggested a plaque to honour Archie on a new boys home they are building on the farm. We are so touched that he'll be remembered in this way.
