Footsteps for Good is about getting a group of individuals into Mae Hong Son, a remote, mountainous province in northern Thailand, bordering Myanmar (Burma). A self-paying eco-trek through nature and remote hill tribes, whilst also raising money for a local cause.
Since 2009, this small walking initiative have raised over $210,000 with like-minded trekkers from Singapore, UK, Australia and USA. The donated monies used to fund remote local communities across Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and India.
The group focus on projects related to creating impact for underprivileged kids - projects sponsored to date included purchase/installation of water distillation equipment, rebuilt schools in the remote hills, vaccination project, increased access to books, and a safe home for HIV+ orphans.

This year we will be supporting Warm Heart Worldwide, raising funds for Warm Heart that provide marginalized children from remote mountain villages a safe loving home and access to an education. Warm Heart is a community-driven nonprofit organization committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those residing in the local impoverished mountain villages. Poor children deprived of essential education opportunities keeping them in the cycle of poverty.
