Super Typhoon Rai, locally named Odette, left a devastating toll in southeastern Philippines when it struck, killing hundreds of people and leaving more than 300,000 displaced. This relief fund will support emergency aid like food, water, medicine, and shelter. After initial needs are met, the fund will transition to provide long-term assistance as needed. All donations to this fund will exclusively support Typhoon Rai (Odette) recovery efforts.
This fundraiser is directly supporting Global Giving'sCentral Philippines Typhoon Rai / Odette Fund. Donations will be used to:
*Provide food and emergency medical supplies to people and animals
*Support temporary shelter and emergency supplies to displaced families
*Provide support to front-line workers, such as meals and gas
*their nonprofit support fee is 5-7% for most donations. This covers our vetting costs and enables us to deliver even more money (and many other benefits) to our partners.
