Addiction Treatment & Youth Projects for Burmese Refugee Population

This is a fundraiser in support of the DARE network who do outstanding work with refugee populations on the Thai/Burma border. Addiction and unemployment are rife in these camps & opportunity and hope are in short supply. DARE have two projects running currently. One funds and runs inpatient addiction treatment using a mixture of tribal methods such as herbal detoxand modern western modalities such auricular acupuncture and group therapy. The other project centres on prevention by providing sports etc for kids and youth in the camps.
