Kamiti Juvenile Prison & Embrace Street Boys Day

Every Boy everywhere deserves to know and see that he is loved, supported and seen.

Our work with teen boys in most at-risk centres and spaces comes face-to-face with the reality of 'fading' that a majority of these boys face consistently. As an organisation, we work hard to ensure that they have the right mindset and belief system as they navigate the reality of their lives.

On May 16th, as we celebrate the Day of the Boy Child, we would like to give each boy a small gift of dignity: shoes. Not just any show, but a brand new pair of Crocs that would communicate love, care and dignity. Something these boys never get.

On the day, we will visit the Kamiti Juvenile Centre - YCTC, for an afternoon of mentorship, and we will give each of the 150 boys a pair, then in the afternoon, visit one of our partners, Embrace Street Boys Rehabilitation Centre and also give each of their 50 boys a pair, spend the afternoon playing and sharing a meal.

Thank you for your generocity.
