Girls are traditionally excluded from access to educational opportunities. This project supports the education and development of girls. It provides scholarships to girls who are at risk of dropping out of school. The project also provides training in self-esteem, critical thinking skills, teenage pregnancy awareness, and Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health. The girls receive guidance and counseling to stay on track with their educational goals. progress report

Rescue a Malnourished Child in Guatemala

Chronic malnutrition is the single biggest contributor to the deaths of children under 5 in Guatemala. Half of Guatemalan children under 5 suffer from chronic malnutrition. Casa Jackson Center for Malnourished Infants provides in-house and out-patient care to hundreds of infants and young children each year, as well as family nutrition education and community outreach efforts. progress report
