Planting Seeds of Hope

We are a group of friends from The Pingry School in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. We got together to help children in Colombia who live on the streets. We are partnering with the Fundacion Niños de los Andes (The Children of the Andes Foundation), which is a Colombian non-profit organization. This foundation has been transforming the lives of hundreds of boys and girls who have been forced to live on the streets and sewers of Bogotá, Colombia, for over three decades. Papá Jaime, the founder, began his work in 1988, helping around 8,000 children who are victims of abandonment, mistreatment, abuse, homelessness, drug abuse, and the consequences of poverty. This foundation has given all these children the opportunity to know the comfort of a home, overcome malnutrition, go to school, become happy, and become productive people in their communities.
