This is an appeal toward the empowerment of young people in Kenya. The initiative seeks to train 100 young people in Kipkelion Sub-County, Kericho County in Kenya on digital literacy skills to enable them to access online jobs (gig economy) and earn income, be self-reliant through self-employment. This will contribute to the exponential growth Digital Economy and position Kenya as the ICT hub of the world.

It costs US$30 to train 1 young person in digital literacy skills. Through your kind donation of US$30 therefore, you would have empowered 1 young person with digital literacy skills in rural Kenya to enable him/her to access online jobs, earn an income and be self-reliant. The income earned will also be used for further upskilling so as for the young person to grow up the ladder on the digital literacy skill hence attracting higher paying jobs.

This fundraiser is not supporting any active projects.
