Hey Friends,
on Global Giving Day I would like to start a fundraiser to support Lilipad.
Lilipad is on a mission to improve children's lives by promoting the love of learning and reading. We open children's libraries in underserved communities, and we strive to transform them into safe havens where the children can learn, grow and have fun.
I personally volunteer at Lilipad as Community Manager and I am always impressed about how much dedication, effort and love all the volunteers put into it, while doing reading activities with the children.
Here are some of the things we will aim to achieve with this fund:
- We will be able to expand to 2-3 more location in Berlin & Paris in 2023
- Financially supporting Lilipad's core personnel, librarians, workshop facilitators
- Acquiring books and educational materials for all 10 + Lilipad libraries
- As a stretch goal, we hope to hire a full-time Project Lead in Berlin to help us facilitate the expansion
