Today Saturday, we are walking as part of the 20 year Challenge to raise funds in support of Brighter Communities Worldwide. Every year volunteers in Ireland and around the world take on the challenge of a walk to raise funds that support the work of Brighter Communities Worldwide.
We are walking as the Brighter Communities Worldwide staff team and we will start from our office in Londiani and walk by the forestry college, railway line, watch towers and back via Kahururua and onto the road back to the office.
For the past 20 years the charity has been shining a light on inequality and working hard to deliver health, education and economic empowerment programmes to people who need it most.
Friends and supporters will be walking in Ireland on the same day in the Galtee mountains and in Nairobi as well all as part of #20yearchallenge.
