I'm running a half marathon on 5th Sept for children in Gujarat that have no alternatives for education, or a childhood. They toil all day everyday to make ends meet, often in horrific conditions, subject to torment and abuse. Saath has created important ‘Child Friendly Spaces’ for them within their working day, to be children, to learn and for a chance to go to school. I've seen Saath at work- this is a fantastic project and the run, a huge challenge for me!! Please help me help these children.

The project works with child laborers who live on construction sites with their parents and are migrants. These children have no access to education and are living in hazardous environment at sites. We aim to connect these children back to mainstream education by providing informal education &basic nutrition support.Every year we support around 250 children & to date we have enrolled more than 3,302 child laborer in our CFS classes and have steered around 271 of these children to formal school progress report
