Family and friends,
recently, something happened to me that touched my heart and felt a little kismet. I want to share this story with you in the hope that you can join me in helping a poor stricken young promising Sammy to pursue and actualize his goal in life.

The young Sammy was born and raised in Enugu. He attended his primary school in the coal city of Enugu. He is the fourth child and the second son of the eight surviving children of his parents. His story is one of a determined young man who faced many hardships, but was blessed by several generous people who intervened at critical points in his life.

According to Sammy, "I have for several occasions applied and was offered admission but no one to assist and back me up" I have the inclination to further my education. If you could help, I will be grateful and be the happiest ever".

currently, after successful application, Sammy was offered admission to study Human Resource management in one of the private schools in United States of America. My challenge, according to Sammy is to meet up with the tuition fees and other payments. I have already made part payment of my tuition fee". "If I could get help from your organization to pursue my dream, I will be the most grateful person".

It was at this point, what touched me most about Sammy, his determination to break out from poverty and position himself and his family to a greater heights. I asked Sammy how he was able to cope within his secondary school days and university. At this moment Sammy broke into tears, shared his experience how he managed to train himself since his family could not afford his training in school after the death of his God-giving sponsor (Mrs Gertrude Adesanya), who took him as a son and nurtured him and promised to train him up to his graduate level.

At the time to fulfill her promise to him, she died. He laboured under rain and scourging sun to meet up with his tuition fees then and helped his family.

Sammy's life journey gave me a reminiscence of my school days experience, when all hope was lost, but with determination I was able to make it through.

Seeing Sammy, a poor-stricken promising young boy and his unwavering spirit and determination to break out of poverty. Of course, Sammy’s story is inspiring. And it is a testament to the many who intervened on his behalf. But sadly, Sammy’ story is not the story of over 30 million children in Sub-Saharan Africa who are currently not in school. These children live in countries and in families that simply do not have the resources to educate them.

Please don't think that any amount of money is too small. Honestly, your $10, $25, $50 etc, will support Sammy in his tuition fee and other payments. I believe there are enough people who care about Sammy and his cause that with $10, $20, $50 each, we will pass the goal easily and put him rolling in his new offer of admission.
