Coronavirus Relief Fund for India

In recent weeks, India has grappled with a staggering rise in new coronavirus infections. Over the weekend, India reported 400,000 daily cases. There have been 216,000+ deaths in India since the pandemic has started but these numbers are likely underreported. The crisis in the country of nearly 1.4 billion people has only deepened as overburdened hospitals shut admissions and run out of beds and oxygen supplies. One oxygen concentrator costs about $500 so our initial goal is to be able to provide 2 oxygen concentrators for India.

As someone who has many family members in India and personally know many people struggling with COVID-19, this fundraiser means a lot to me. India is in desperate need of help and any contribution would greatly help the people in need. The money donated here will directly go to a relief fund created by GlobalGiving, a non-profit organization that has facilitated more than $100M in disaster donations since 2004. Every dollar counts so please consider helping with whatever you can!

This fundraiser is not supporting any active projects.
