Hello,
Would you like to protect one of the last untouched places in the world – the Corcovado National Park on the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica - and contribute to the livelihood of its inhabitants? The Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) started a crowdfunding campaign "Protect Endangered Biodiversity and 100 Farmers Lives" on GlobalGiving. The goal is to raise funds to train local farming families in sustainability issues in order to protect the nature around the farms of the Corcovado National Park. The National Park is home to 2.5% of the total biodiversity of our planet on just 0.000001% of the earth's surface. The training will empower them to practice sustainable agriculture that is in synergy with nature and generates better incomes and food security for their community.
By supporting this initiative with your donation and sharing it in your network, we will come one step closer to this goal. SAN thanks you very much for your contribution to saving our nature and securing the livelihoods of those who protect it. In the coming months you will receive updates of the project by email to show how your contribution is being implemented and what results are being achieved.

This fundraiser is not supporting any active projects.
