It is now recognised that we are currently facing The 6th Mass Extinction, and that we humans are the cause of it. As we approach Earth Day (April 22nd), GVI Charitable Programs will be celebrating nature and raising awareness of the conservation and climate crisis that we all face. The global campaign will culminate in a range of activities around the world, to help highlight the issues, and showcase actions that we can all take.
Through the course of the campaign, we aim to raise 10,000 USD to support on-going long term conservation, carbon reduction and mitigation projects, including rainforest conservation, coral reef restoration and monitoring, habitat management, anti-poaching initiatives, recycling and waste management, and alternative income generation initiatives.
