The people of The Bahamas are integrated into the very identity and history of the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. Literally thousands of Bennies and Johnnies – and their families and friends – make their homes on these beautiful islands. Because of Hurricane Dorian, they are suffering right now.



The students of Saint Ben’s and Saint John’s are inviting you to join them in making a gift to support the on-the-ground recovery efforts in the Bahamas. Click on the link below to provide your generous support to the Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund, a highly-rated non-profit based in The Bahamas that has received the endorsement of the GlobalGiving Foundation. Your gift will go directly to a locally-based non-profit and your gift will be tax-deductible as allowed by law.



Our students are living out Benedictine values of community living, stability, and stewardship through these fundraising efforts. They are expressing their generosity by praying for, supporting, and encouraging their brothers and sisters in the Bahamas. Sixty-eight students from the Bahamas are on campus right now. You can show solidarity with them by making your gift to the Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund.
