THE CAUSE Around 64,000,000 of the world’s hungriest children do not attend school. In order to survive, they have to work or beg. Even if they do make it into the classroom, hunger affects their ability to learn. We are able to reach 100 children with two meals every day they attend school. These life-changing meals attract hungry children into the classroom. The food fills their empty bellies so they have the energy and opportunity to learn, giving them the chance of a brighter future. The meals also support families struggling to feed their children while boosting the country’s wider economy. Wherever possible, we serve locally produced food. This supports the local community and its farmers as well as the wider economy. THE FACTS The community is the most difficult place for the children and for the youth due to its densely populated. Most school children walk to the schools without a meal in the morning Most schools offer free tuition from the government due to the high unemployment in the community. There are no visible playgrounds for any type of sports in the community, so more reliance on schools to provide sports and recreation (which they do not provide). Aftercare, After school services, cost money and many cannot afford POTENTIAL IMPACT Your donation will make a huge economic and social impact on the community. We will be able to extend our current program to accommodate an additional 50 more children and start the youth sports development program.
