Funding for Simon Ekai from Samburu to attend July HROC International Training in Rwanda.

Transformative Community for Social Change plans on sending Simon Ekai to the next 3-week Healing and Rebuilding Our Community (HROC) International Training in July in Rwanda. This is the next step towards peacemaking in Samburu County and Simon is a Samburu youth leader who is working with TCSC in promoting peacemaking programs in Samburu. Simon has already been trained in the Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) and Turning the Tide/Non-violent Campaign for Social Change. He comments, "I will use the knowledge gained from the HROC training to help our warring communities to avoid conflicts and help those who are already traumatized to heal from their trauma." We will need to raise $1200 for is fees and transportation to Rwanda and return.
