Empowerment Charity Yoga

Create a mindful practice by extending the empowerment experienced on the mat to those in need.  All funds collected will go to support Apne Aap Women’s Collective (AAWC)'s efforts in helping girls living in Kamathipura (Mumbai), one of Asia's largest and oldest red light areas, to pursue a better life beyond the brothels.  By providing their members with the tools and resources to create a better quality of life, AAWC seeks to empower women who have been trafficked into brother-based prostitution and to prevent the cycle of intergenerational prostitution among their daughters.
