World Environment Day
A fundraiser by
Friends of Ruaha Society is an NGO that was created in 1984 and is based in Iringa, Tanzania. FORS aims to increase environmental awareness and appreciation in hopes of protecting the area and creating a balance between people, wildlife, and environment. FORS has set up a wonderful Environmental Education Program for economically disadvantaged communities along the Ruaha NP. Each year World Environment Day is celebrated. Song, dance, and variety of environmental awareness messages are relayed.
