Annapurna Base Camp Trek
A fundraiser by Samantha Ashworth
On the 25th March 2008, a group of eight will be trekking to the Annapurna base camp, which sits at 4130 metres above sea level. The expedition is part of Samantha Ashworth's dissertation project and will involve everyone participating in intensive tests at different altitudes. KEEP and the Crooked Trail work together to provide environmental education to both locals and travellers, ensuring the future ecological and cultural prosperity of Nepal. The Nagarkot school is part of this programme.
