The water crisis in Makueni, Kenya is disrupting social and economic activities throughout the country. Unfortunately, the current wave of droughts and water shortages in Kenya and the rest of East Africa is only expected to continue. We feel that we need to respond much better and increase water efficiency. It is our goal to free Makueni women and girls from the daily chore of hauling water, often over great distances. It is our vision to drill at least 10 wells in the next five years.
