Ford Donation Match for COVID-19, Make a donation to make a difference

Thank you to all of our donors for helping us reach our match! We are so proud that together, we were able to make a difference in the fight against COVID19 in communities around the world. We are currently gathering the impact data from all of the wonderful projects supported through this match donation. We will update this information in a few short weeks.

Egyptian Food Bank
Egyptian Food Bank has started a campaign under the name "Supporting Day Labor, a Social Responsibility" on March 20th. The deterioration of the economic status due to COVID-19 has affected a large number of employees and workers, especially Day labor. The campaign aims to distribute 3,000,0000 feeding boxes to the Day Labor whose daily pattern was and will be negatively affected more than any other criteria of workers.



Livelihood Support Visually Challenged Families
COVID has created a situation of job losses , financial attacks especially among the differently abled daily wage workers. Those situation has still has a impact in the lives like Unemployed, loan struggle, health issues etc. This project aims to provide them an livelihood support like Monthly groceries, Toiletries, Cash support etc. This will help them acquire their basic living needs.




Gawad Kalinga COVID-19 Response
Gawad Kalinga will be providing food packs for families in rural areas during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gift of the Givers is a partner to the South African government's Covid-19 initiative, augmenting public health services by supporting medical professionals with protective wear, supplying relevant essential medical equipment and providing medical consumables to the institutions in urgent need. Water, food and other basic essentials are also being provided to the most vulnerable.

The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) continues to work alongside our 500+ partner hunger-relief agencies, including food pantries, community meal programs and other food assistance providers throughout the nine counties and 190 towns and cities across Eastern Massachusetts.
