This project aims to rehabilitate 100 visually impaired individuals over the course of one year through a comprehensive programme at the Federal Nigeria Society for the Blind (the FNSB). The initiative will provide vocational training, orientation and mobility skills, essential assistive devices such as white canes and Braille materials, and personal development support to help trainees regain independence and rebuild confidence. By equipping beneficiaries with practical skills and the ability to navigate their environment safely, this project will empower them to become self-reliant and active contributors to their communities while promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for persons with visual impairment.
