This year I’m taking on one of the toughest Knights in White Lycra charity rides yet - cycling 500km and climbing over 6,100m in just four days - to raise money for Mirai no Mori, a charity supporting vulnerable children growing up in care in Japan.
Having volunteered with Mirai no Mori for the past two years, I’ve seen first-hand the life-changing difference their work makes. Many of the children they support have experienced neglect, abuse, or severe hardship, and Mirai no Mori gives them something every child deserves: safe experiences, trusted role models, and the chance to build confidence for the future.
Your donation helps fund outdoor adventures for children aged 5–18, including summer and winter camps - opportunities that many of these children would otherwise never have. These programmes give children the chance to build resilience, develop friendships, and create positive memories that can shape their futures.
So far, Mirai no Mori has supported over 4,300 children, and with your help, they can reach even more.
I know times are difficult, but if you are able to donate, no matter the amount, it will make a real and direct difference. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this page would mean a great deal too.
Whether through a donation or by sharing this page, you can help give more children the support, opportunities, and hope they deserve.
Thank you for your support.
