The absence of female reference models in all areas of society is at the root cause of this cycle of planned poverty, perpetuated with each generation, as sociocultural norms limit women to the roles of wife and motherhood. Girl MOVE's impact approach is based on developing new female reference models and connecting/ multiplying them through mentorship & sisterhood circles that create a virtuous/continuous cycle of positive change and impact.
