Mission

The mission of Seeds for a Future is to provide rural families in Guatemala with coaching and technical assistance in nutrition and food security, home production of plant and animal foods, crop diversification and improved farming techniques. The practical goal is for each participating family to learn skills and techniques that will help them achieve better nutrition and more secure access to sufficient food, and improve their family economic situation. Learning occurs in an atmosphere of support and coaching which helps embed the new skills and knowledge into the behavior and daily activities of participants.
