The Connie Mulder Centre is a registered non-profit, non-sexist, multi-racial welfare organisation. We have opened our doors on the 20th of September 1975. We have celebrated our 50th Birthday Bash this year. We currently offer holistic residential care to 218 mentally and physically disabled adults. We are registered with the Department of Social Development for three programmes. People with Disabilities (ranging the ages of 18 to 59), Protective Workshops and Older Persons (ranging from 60 up) on the premises. The Gauteng Province is our main feeder area, but we have residents from other provinces. We have 7 Hostels for our disabled residents, several Workshops and 2 Homes for our elderl... read more The Connie Mulder Centre is a registered non-profit, non-sexist, multi-racial welfare organisation. We have opened our doors on the 20th of September 1975. We have celebrated our 50th Birthday Bash this year. We currently offer holistic residential care to 218 mentally and physically disabled adults. We are registered with the Department of Social Development for three programmes. People with Disabilities (ranging the ages of 18 to 59), Protective Workshops and Older Persons (ranging from 60 up) on the premises. We have 21 dayworkers from surrounding areas who are actively involved in our Protective Workshops. It is imperative that we keep our residents stimulated and busy and the following activities forms an integral part of our treatment program.
