The organisation’s mission is to help girls reach their full potential by supporting them to stay in school, develop confidence and life skills, access higher education and scholarships, and improve their physical and emotional wellbeing. The organisation primarily serves girls living in East Amman, with programming centred at its facility in Hashemi Al Shamali and at local squash facilities. Girls receive English, Arabic and mathematics support, literacy and study-skills interventions, squash and fitness training, wellbeing sessions, mentoring, nutrition and transportation. The programme is designed to be long-term, with girls joining from around age eight and remaining through high school. Squash Dreamers works with girls from refugee and underserved communities, including Syrian, Palestinian, Iraqi, Sudanese and Jordanian families, without restrictions based on nationality. The organisation focuses particularly on girls from low-income families who attend government-run shift schools, where overcrowding, limited school hours and low educational attainment can create significant barriers to their development.
