Project 48 exists to ensure that foster children who are in their most fragile and vulnerable moments, have access to high quality items to help allow for an easier transition. We provide brand new backpacks or duffel bags, shoes, clothing, undergarments and toiletries to foster youth, ages 7-21, entering into or transitioning in foster care. We serve Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas Counties in Oregon, providing bags for the 2000 youth entering care each year in these counties.
