Our mission is to provide free education, daily nutritious meals, and community support to over 370 underprivileged children, aged 6–17, in Phneachey Village and the surrounding outskirts of Siem Reap — giving them the tools and opportunities to build a better future for themselves and their families. We do this by: Delivering free English-language lessons, five days a week, taught by 6 local teachers and volunteers Providing daily nutritious school meals so that hunger never stands between a child and their education Supporting family and community welfare, including monthly rice assistance to 45 vulnerable families Offering short-term volunteer placements (1–2 weeks) that bring skills and global partnerships into the classroom Encouraging self-reliance and self-empowerment, both for individual students and for the wider village community NDCCO was founded in 2014 by Kimlean Voeun, who grew up in extreme poverty himself and walked three days without food to reach Siem Reap as a child. After building a career from restaurant worker to tuk-tuk driver, he opened a free English school for his community, funded entirely from his own earnings. NDCCO was officially registered as a Cambodian NGO in 2018 (Registration No. 2197 with the Ministry of Interior). Our work is guided by five core values: Humility, Humanity, Honesty, Community, and Commitment. We run our organization transparently, accountable to our donors, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and — most importantly — our students and their families. Our graduates have gone on to work at international banks, in Siem Reap's tourism industry as hotel staff, and even opened their own businesses — proof that access to education can change the trajectory of a child's life, regardless of the poverty they were born into.
