Basketball is used as a bridge-builder, and hook to attract players and fans from rival gangs in the neighborhood. With the support of NBA players, and other high profile supporters, the ongoing weekly league and annual tournament has been successful in bringing together rivals to compete on the court and building relationships off of it with the aim of bringing peace to the streets.
